The Striker Band played this past Saturday night at Kelly’s Gingernut Pub in Cape Charles Virginia.
The guys put on a fantastic show with a lot of energy.  They played a bunch of great cover tunes,
everything from U2 to Weezer to The Commodores and threw in some originals.
To quote (or copy and paste) their website……..
”The Striker Band is a group of seasoned professional musicians.
We bring a full production of sound and lights. Our song list has plenty of music you can

I totally agree….. They are definitely a great party band.

The second trash the dress session with Sarah had the dramatic lighting I was looking for.
The first shoot was pretty good as you can see in HERE in this post.
But the lighting turned pretty gray and boring as the clouds rolled in.
So after the first shoot we decided to try again……different day, location and hair cut.
Pretty cool huh!

NOT referenced from the Urban Dictionary…….I was thinking of a line in one of my favorite
David Bowie tunes “Suffragette City” which also has crude connotations.
I would say more on the relation to business…”conducting business without
spending time on formalities or detailed intros, quickly getting what you
really came for”. Ok….so now that I have gone on and on and explained my intro line……
That was the scene for Jessica and Jacobs wedding on Assateague Island beach in Chincoteague Virginia.
A very cool couple who drove all the way from Richmond Virginia to tie the knot on the beach.
The vows lasted about 5 minutes and we shot a couple hundred fantastic shots in less than an hour.
Posted is a small sample.

Kendal and I with mom looking on had a great time at several different locations in Cape Charles.
There is never a shortage of beautiful spots on Virginia’s Eastern shore.
Kendal was having so much fun she was literally jumping for joy by the end of our session…..
Really, I have the picture to prove it.

Good HOT times with Jennifer and Aaron.
The ceremony took place on Latimers Bluff in Cape Charles Virginia
overlooking the Beautiful Chesapeake Bay. With the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel to the left
and kiptopeke State Park to the right the setting was awesome and so was the heat.
The hot weather didn’t seem to bother Jennifer or Aaron; they just wanted to start the party.
Reception was held in the Cabana room at Aqua Restaurant in the Bay Creek Marina.

FUN was what this wedding was all about.
Holly and Rick wanted to have FUN and wanted lots of FUN photos.
I also got around to taking a couple nice serious shots when they weren’t looking.
The wedding took place at the always beautiful and FUN Sea Oaks Country Club. Have FUN
